Sharnford Garage Ltd is a third generation family business founded in 1958 by Bob Randell, a former police officer who had a passion for car repairs in his spare time.
Based in the heart of the village of Sharnford, the garage is now managed by Bob's son Mark Randell, who joined the business in 1976 and his son Michael who joined in 1997. With a strong work ethic and set of morals we pride ourselves on providing a fair, ethical and honest service to everyone, which is why we are continually recommended by our customers.
Originally on the site of a tin shed and chip shop the garage was rebuilt in 1960 and it has also been an Esso fuel station. We’ve been serving the local community and beyond ever since. We enjoy what we do, working for ourselves and as a family business.
We provide car and van repairs and services, MOTs up to class 4 and we also offer class 3 MOTs for trikes.
We can look after your vehicle bodywork from panels to painting and we also sell a wide range of quality used cars and vans.
Our team include permanent, experienced mechanics who have worked for the garage for many years.
Outside of work you can find Mark and Michael on bright spelt BriSCA Formula 1 stock car race tracks across the UK. Founder Bob Randell was well known on the circuit back in the 1970s and both his sons and grandsons have continued his legacy to date, winning several race finals with their own team and vehicle. The family continues to enjoy the thrill of the race track and Michael’s young son is also an enthusiastic stock car racing fact.
